Job Description

Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Planning Specialist!

This role is responsible for scheduling production jobs from the weekly production schedule created by corporate planning.

What You Will Do:

  • Schedule the production jobs to the correct work center from the weekly production schedule sent by the corporate planner.
  • Verify raw material and packaging material for the scheduled plan to ensure the production lines run would interruptions due to shortages.
  • Works cooperatively with associates responsible for material master data to ensure new products are aligned with the correct resources.
  • Measures production performance toplan andresolve scheduling conflicts
  • Ensures conformance to production schedule
  • Plans and coordinates raw material orders and receipts
  • Develops and maintains open order reports
  • Analyzes, modifies, and maintainsproduct lineforecasts to assure accuracy in coordination with the corporate operations planning group
  • Coordinating with Planner to reconcile jobs and materials
  • Provides formal and informal reporting on plant manufacturing plan execution
  • May direct the efforts or members of the materials management department to complete various assignments, including training newer personal on use of the Production Planning systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Details:

  • Plant location: Winston-Salem NC
  • Work week and shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Compensation: $20.00 -$23.00 Depending on Experience.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong mainframe and PC computer skills in Excel, Word and Access
  • Strong SAP knowledge
  • Good numerical skills
  • No immigration sponsorship

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 20 lbs
  • Must be able to stand upwards of 1 hours
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor; comfortable working with vendors and internal customers
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
