Overview

As the Senior Warehouse Technician, in Plover, WI, you will work within a team-based environment to ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Tests equipment for proper function and facilitate repairs when necessary. Maintains inventory and ensures accuracy in the system. This position handles work orders and works with internal customers to ensure they receive the equipment they need, when they need it.

This position can be hired at either a Warehouse Technician (#2024-23430) or a Senior Warehouse Technician (#2024-23431) level depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Different job postings exist for each of these positions. The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. Responsibilities
    Receives: Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Receiving duties include unloading trucks, coordinating materials with packing slips, tagging and filing documents indicating received receipt. Ensures all new CPE equipment is loaded correctly into the inventory system within 48 hours of being received. Unpack CPE, label and repack before adding to inventory
  • Service:Test equipment for proper function and schedule repairs of damaged/broken or defective equipment. Coordinates all Repairs to include CPE equipment, Head end equipment, Hardline Equipment and warranty items
  • Inventory:Maintains inventory including purchasing, receiving, stocking, and tracks regulated and non-regulated equipment and materials.
    • Performs Inventory & Supplies duties such as repair & returns, orders & processes orders for regulated & deregulated items, tracks regulated & deregulated inventory, maintains appropriate inventory levels utilizing the mailbox andweb tools (e.g., Inventory Use & Transfer Application, etc.), Plant Record Systems, SAP and other TDS and Broadband applications as appropriate.
    • Inventory responsibilities include warehouse, vehicles, in process orders, repairs & delinquent shipments which includes the physical loading and unloading of all shipments.
    • Establishes and maintains a tracking database, tracks delinquent shipments, tracks Broadband projects, and maintains an accurate log of all purchase orders.
    • This includes working directly with Finance and to maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels. Arrange Disposal or recycling of equipment as needed.
  • Support: Receive printed work orders and prepare equipment needed for each work order. Work with the In-house technicians, front counters and contractors on locally picked up CPE recoveries. Issues CPE, Hard Line and Construction Supplies and equipment. Coordinate Shipping.
  • Ensures all warehouses and yards are Clean and Organized
  • Ensures all warehouse equipment is in serviceable and in working condition
  • Assist others with locating equipment, issuing supplies and equipment, process CPE reconciliations, prepare outbound shipping.
  • Operate forklifts and fleet vehicles to transport equipment or supplies.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Manager.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience -OR-current military service, or prior military service with honorable discharge.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience with both electronic and manual inventory systems.
  • Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines in order to meet TDS's business needs including but not limited to our obligations to our customers and to our customers' needs.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.

Physical Demands and Work Environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, write and operate a computer keyboard, standard office equipment and telephone. The associate regularly communicates with customers. The associate is frequently required to move about and reach for items. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be required to balance or climb. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsand occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distancevision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.This position may require working outdoors, in mechanical/ equipment rooms, and possible extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
