Description

Bison Transport USA is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator in our shop department. The Maintenance Coordinator is an administrative role that assists with various office duties within our shop department. The position is onsite with 2nd shift hours starting at 3:30pm Monday-Friday. A mechanical background is not required, but a plus. Come work with a great maintenance team and growing fleet!

Duties Include:

* Answer phone calls from drivers and assist them with mechanical issues or facilitate a repair service

* Generate and communicate purchase order numbers for on-road repair work.

* Track repair receipts/invoices and submit for payment.

* Coordinate with local repair companies on the transport of equipment.

* Monitor trailer DOT inspections and track trailers that are due for service.

* Coordinate and monitor downtime on road break downs.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical background is a plus but not required
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills verbally and written with demonstrated professionalism
